Summary
An update on work-in-progress transition to WFAA’s new financial management system, FAST (Oracle NetSuite) and impact on WFAA’s Gift and Fund Management website.
WFAA’s new financial management system, FAST, will go live on July 1. To support this transition, there will be a few temporary impacts to the Gift and Fund Management site:
- As previously communicated, no new funds will be created by the Fund Administration and Compliance Team (FACT) from June 12th through July 1st. Agreements that are in progress can still be signed, and new fund requests can be submitted. Please hold off on submitting any fund change requests during this time. This temporary pause will allow us to focus on critical cutover activities and implement our new financial management system efficiently.
- Fund Balances & Fund Activity will not reflect disbursements transactions between July 1st – July 10th. If a disbursement request is made during that period and there are insufficient funds, you will receive notification from WFAA’s disbursements team.
- To prepare for the FAST system go-live, GFM will be down on Monday, July 10th from 6-9pm CST.
You will notice a few small changes to the GFM website starting on July 11th, including the view of Spendable Cash and Spendable Endowment Income. We understand that these changes may require some adjustments to current workflows and processes for some of our campus partners. Our team has created a resource guide to walk you through these changes.
We will continue to keep you apprised of progress and changes related to our transition. In the meantime, please submit any questions to the WFAA team via email at lumenprogram@supportuw.org.
